If the FuseDocs ribbon disappears from your excel - there are two possible solutions.

Solution 1 - Re-enable the Excel Addin

This solution resolves the issue where the FuseDocs ribbon is still installed but has been disabled from Excel.

To Resolve this:

  1. In Excel: Click File > Options > Add-ins.
  2.  In the drop-down box select to manage "Com Add-ins" and press Go.
  3. If FuseDocs appears in the list of disabled items click on it then "Enable"
  4. In the drop-down box select to manage "Com Add-ins" and press Go.
  5. Select and ensure that "FuseDocs" is checked.
  6. If FuseDocs is not in this list - go to Solution 2.

Soltution 2 - Reinstall FuseDocs Ribbon

  1. Uninstall the existing FuseDocs ribbon (if installed).
  2. Go to Add/Remove Programs, select "FuseDocs" and click uninstall.
    1. Click Start > type "Remove Program" in the search box > and select "Add / Remove Program"
    2. Select FuseDocs from the list and click "Uninstall"
  3. Reinstall the FuseDocs ribbon - see this article: here
  4. If you don't see FuseDocs in the Add/Remove Program list, simply reinstall FuseDocs using the link above.
