Below are a few cases where FuseDocs has stopped showing in excel. Please follow the instructions related to the situation you are experiencing.


Note, these situations happen due to Excel trying to protect your computer.


FuseDocs stopped displaying in Excel

Open the Excel Add-In window

  1. Open Excel
  2. Confirm FuseDocs does not appear in your toolbar
  3. Click "File" in the top left corner
  4. On the left menu, click "Options"
  5. In the new "Excel Options" window. On the left menu, click "Add-Ins"

Excel can disable FuseDocs in two different ways. Below describes how to fix both alternatives.

Alternative 1 - Re-adding the COM Add-in

  1. Open the Excel Add-In window
  2. Down the bottom, go to the manage section
  3. In the drop down select "COM Add-ins"
  4. Click "Go"
  5. If FuseDocs is on this list. Make sure it is ticked and click "ok"
  6. If FuseDocs is not on this list, read Alternative 2 below
  7. Close and Open Excel
  8. If FuseDocs does not show, go to "I have to re-add the FuseDocs excel add-in every time I run excel"


Alternative 2 - Enabling a disabled Add-in

  1. Open the Excel Add-In window
  2. Down the bottom, go to the manage section
  3. In the drop down select "Disabled Items"
  4. Click "Go"
  5. If FuseDocs is on this list. Click on the item
  6. If FuseDocs is not on this list, and you have completed Alternative 1. Please contact support
  7. Click "Enable"
  8. Close and Open Excel
  9. If FuseDocs does not show, go to "I have to re-add the FuseDocs excel add-in every time I run excel"
